男，研究员，享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家，中国科学院杰出科技成就突出贡献者，博士生导师。1983年7月毕业于北京大学地理系，1989年获理学硕士学位，2006年获博士学位。1999年晋升为研究员，2003年任中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所博士生导师。1996年和2002年分别赴加拿大马尼托巴大学和澳大利亚新南威尔士大学学习，2012年赴美国哈佛大学进修。中国地理学会经济地理专业委员会主任、生态环境部环境评价咨询委员会成员、中国区域科学学会国土规划专业委员会副主任、中国国土经济研究会理事、中国交通系统工程协会会员。

研究领域:

经济地理学与区域经济学。重点研究方向包括交通运输地理学、基础设施发展理论、区域发展与区域规划，区域发展环境影响评价。

先后共参加或组织了近30多项科研课题的研究工作。作为第一负责人主持的主要科研项目有：黄河流域城市群与产业高质量发展的协同推进路径与模式（自然科学基金重大专项项目，2021-2024），新疆经济社会发展新动能和区域发展战略研究（中国科学院院级科研项目，2019-2021），区域可持续发展及智慧城市评价与模拟（中国科学院战略性先导科技专项，2018-2022），重点区域与产业发展战略环境影响评价（环保部重大任务，2008-2017），中国经济发展格局与生态安全格局协调性评价（环保部任务，2011-2012），区域人文过程模拟（科学院知识创新工程项目，2009-2011），空间组织与空间效率的基础理论研究（自然科学重点基金，2007-2010），成渝经济区规划（2009），东北地区振兴规划（2007），东北老工业基地振兴与可持续发展战略（2005），中国地区经济发展战略（2003），沿海地区人地关系协调发展战略（2003）等。

Prof JIN Fengjun，Ph.D

Education: Prof. Jin graduated from the Department of Geography of Peking University in 1983. His specialization is economic geography and urban planning. In 1989 he received the master degree (geography) from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and in 2006 the doctoral degree in economics from Renmin University of China. He also carried out cooperative studies in Manitoba University, Canada in 1996, University of New South Wales, Australia in 2002, and Harvard University in 2012.
