张平宇，博士，研究员，中国科学院东北地理与农业生态研究所。主要从事城市与区域发展研究，在东北地区城镇化过程、老工业城市调整改造、资源型城市转型、农业与乡村发展、空间规划和区域可持续发展等方面有深厚的科研积累。承担国家自然科学基金委、中国科学院等国家级和地方科研课题50余项，发表中英文科技论文200余篇，编著学术著作5部。

现任吉林省地理学会理事长、中国地理学会常务理事、国际区域研究会中国分会常务理事、中国地理学会国土空间规划研究分会副主任、中国自然资源学会世界资源研究分会副主任，吉林省委决策咨询委员会第三届委员、吉林省人民政府决策咨询委员第五届委员。

Zhang Pingyu, Ph.D, Professor, has worked at Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology, CAS for more than 30 years. He mainly engaged in urban and regional development research. He has profound experiences and scientific research accumulation in some scientific research areas including Northeast China’s urbanization process, old industrial city regeneration, resources-based city transformation, agriculture and rural development, spatial planning and regional sustainable development etc., He has undertaken more than 50 national and local different ranks of scientific research tasks sponsored by NSFC, CAS and other state and local governments. He has co-worked more than 200 research articles and 5 books both in Chinese and English. In addition, Professor Zhang takes the position as director of The Geographical Society of Jilin Province, China, executive member of The Geographical Society of China, executive member of RSA China Division, deputy director of Territory Spatial Planning Research Branch of GSC, deputy director of World Resources Research Branch of CSNR. He also acts as a member of Policy-making Advisory Committee of the People’s Government of Jilin Province and the member of Policy-making Advisory Council of Jilin Provincial Committee of CPC.
