贺灿飞,男,江西人,北京大学城市与环境学院院长,北京大学博雅特聘教授,国家杰出青年基金获得者,教育部长江学者特聘教授(2016),北京市第13届政协委员,国家教材委员会下设地理专业委员会委员,教育部地理科学类教学指导委员会主任,北京2022年冬奥会和冬残奥会可持续咨询和建议委员会委员,北京大学第11届学位评定委员会委员。1990-1997年就读于北京师范大学,2001年毕业于亚利桑那州立大学,获博士学位。2001-2003任孟菲斯大学任助理教授,2003-2009任北京大学副教授,2009-现在为北京大学教授。现为中国地理学会副理事长,中国区域科学协会副理事长,全国经济地理研究会副会长,IGU经济空间动态委员会执委;

RSA中国分会理事长,China RSA研究委员会委员,中国地理学会教育工作委员会副主任,中国地理学会学术工作委员会副主任。曾为UCLA高级访问学者,第四届全球经济地理大会组委会成员,第五届全球经济地理学大会顾问委员,世界银行顾问咨询专家,中国地理学会副秘书长,中国地理学会经济地理专业委员会副主任。研究方向为经济地理学,研究领域包括外商直接投资、跨国公司、国际贸易、产业经济地理、环境经济地理、演化经济地理以及城市与区域发展。主持国家自然科学基金杰出青年基金、重点项目、面上项目和青年项目等、“十二五”国家科技支撑计划课题、国土资源部行业公益性课题、世界银行委托项目以及多项地方委托产业发展规划研究课题等。任《地理研究》、《地理科学》、《世界地理研究》、《热带地理》副主编、Urban Studies的International Corresponding Editor, Wiley-AAG International Encyclopedia of Geography产业地理主编,中国大百科全书第三版《地理卷》“工业地理”主编,《中国地理卷》“中国经济地理”副主编,为Economic Geography, Applied Geography、Growth and Change、Eurasian Geography and Economics、the Geographical Journal、Post Communist Economies, Area Development and Policy、Asian Geographer、 Geography and Sustainability、《中国科技论文》、《地理科学进展》、《经济地理》等杂志编委。在国内外知名杂志发表学术论文近300篇,其中国际期刊论文近100篇,在Growth and Change, GeoJournal和Small Business Economics等国际期刊和《地理研究》、《地理研究进展》等组织专辑,出版《转型经济地理研究》、《环境经济地理研究》、《演化经济地理研究》、《贸易经济地理研究》、《Environmental Economic Geography in China》、《Evolutionary Economic Geography in China》、《Geographical Dynamics and Firm Spatial Strategy in China》等著作(含合著)。曾获第三届全国优秀地理科技工作者奖、第九届全国青年地理科技奖、第六届教育部高等院校科研优秀成果二等奖、国土资源科学技术二等奖、中国社会科学院优秀成果三等奖以及华夏建设科学技术三等奖等、第二届吴传钧人文与经济地理优秀论文一等奖。连续于2015-2020年入选Elsevier 发布Most Cited Chinese Researchers(社会科学)。

He is an economic geography professor and the Dean of the College of Urban and Environmental Sciences at Peking University (PKU) and the deputy director of the Peking University–Lincoln Institute Center for Urban Development and Land Policy. He earned his Ph.D. degree in geography from Arizona State University in 2001 and joined in the University of Memphis as visiting assistantr professor for two years. He joined in Peking University in 2003. He is now a vice president of Chinese Geographical Society, Regional Science Association of China, National Society of Economic Geography in China and the Chair, RSA China Division. He is the associate editors of four Chinese journals and the international corresponding editor of Urban Studies. He sits on the editorial board of several international journals, including Economic Geography, Applied Geography, Geographical Journal, Eurasian Geography and Economics, Growth and Change, Post Communist Economies, Area Development and Policy and Asian Geographers. Dr. He’s research interests include industrial geography, urban and regional development, environmental economic geography and evolutionary economic geography in China. Dr. He has authored or co-authored 16 books in Chinese and 3 books in English and published widely in international journals, including Economic Geography, Journal of Economic Geography, Annals of Association of American Geographers, Urban Geography, Urban Studies, Regional Studies, Landscape and Urban Planning, Environment and Planning C, European Planning Studies, Cambridge Journal of City, Region and Society, Papers in Regional Science, International Review of Regional Sciences, and Geoforum, Spatial Economic Analysis. He is also the lead guest editor of several special issues for Growth and Change (2016), Geojournal(2016), and Small Business Economics (2019). He was granted the Outstanding Young Scientist Award by National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2014 and was entitled the Cheung Kong professorship in 2016 by the Ministry of Education in China. He was listed by Elsevier as one of the most cited researchers in mainland China (social sciences) for five consecutive years (2015-2020).
