吴旗韬，男，研究员，博士。广州地理研究所副所长、科研管理部主任，兼任广东省地理学会常务理事，广东省旅游资源开发质量评定委员会专家委员、国际区域研究协会中国分会委员等。主要从事区域交通和区域发展等相关问题的研究。近年来主持和参与60多项国家级科研项目及广东省政府重大战略发展研究项目，包括国家自然科学基金3项、国家科技支撑计划3项、博士后基金2项、中科院

重点部署项目1项，省市科技计划等8项。提交10多份被中财办、国家和省发改委、省政府采用的重要咨询报告和重大规划，其中3份得到省委书记、省长等批示并落实，2份成为省政府颁布文件。近年来已在国内外期刊发表中英文论文92余篇，发明专利4项。

Wu Qitao, Professor, Ph.D. Deputy Director of the Guangzhou Institute of Geography, also serving as the executive director of the Guangdong Geographical Society, the expert member of the Guangdong Tourism Resource Development Quality Evaluation Committee. His research focuses on regional transportation and regional development. He has hosted and participated in more than 60 scientific research projects and strategic development research projects, including 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 3 projects of National Science and Technology Support Programs, 2 projects of  China Postdoctoral Funds, and 1 Key Deployment Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. 8 projects of Guangdong Province’s science and technology plan. Submitted more than 10 important consulting reports adopted by the national and Guangdong province’s government. Three reports were approved and implemented by the Governor of Guangdong province, and 2 reports became the formal documents issued by the provincial government. He published more than 92 academic papers, obtained four invention patents.
